London travel tips: central London bus map

If you're visiting London, and you're courageous enough to venture on the double-decker buses (which I really recommend), then make sure to obtain a bus map for central London. They are not usually displayed in the information racks like the tube map, so you will have to ask for it at a London Underground station. There is an online version (pdf) at http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/central-london-bus-map.pdf, but as you can guess, it won't be particularly useful on a A4 sheet of paper. The physical copy available at stations is larger, therefore much easier to read. It's invaluable as a source of information, even if you are not planning to board a bus, since all the major attractions are marked on it. The best thing about this map? It's free.
