Information the site owner gathers: Google Analytics

The site owner keeps the standard log information such as visitor IP address, browser, operating system, and the date and time of the visit. The site owner does not collect personal information such as names, addresses, e-mail addresses, or telephone numbers.

Furthermore, the site owner uses Google Analytics, which uses first-party cookies to track visitor interactions. Information thereby collected corresponds to the standard log information mentioned above, and it does not associate or share personally identifiable information (PII) with other Google services, such as advertisements (see below), or across domains. Further information on Google Analytics may be found at Google Analytics Overview, and it is possible to opt out from Google Analytics at Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertisements: Google AdSense

Third parties, namely Google, its AdWords third-party vendors and Ad Exchange vendors, may drop and use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other similar technologies on this site to collect information about visits to this and other websites. These do not collect personal information such as names, e-mail addresses, billing information, or other data which can reasonably be linked to such information by Google.

More specifically, Google uses DoubleClick cookies and similar methods to gather information to associate a browser with categories of interests to provide tailored advertisements to the said browser through tracking the browsing habits and behaviour of the user, and may share such information with its AdWords third-party vendors and Ad Exchange vendors. It is possible to opt out from many cookies that track behaviour, including those of Google, by using the following opt-out forms:

Also check your ad preferences if you are signed into your Google account at Ads Settings page. There are also many anti-tracking browser extensions and add-ons that will opt out from behavioural ad targeting, as well as ad-blocking extensions and add-ons that will prevent advertisements from displaying.
