I was trying to find out about the fires in California and looked up the Los Angeles Times website yesterday.
I couldn’t help but notice that on its masthead, and on the top right corner, there were links to "Jobs, Cars.com, Real Estate, Forclosure Sale and More Classifieds". It is a sad reminder of the tough economic situation, in which many are losing their homes, so that there is a separate link to an external site that specializes in dealing with foreclosed properties. Perhaps I am wrong and this link has always been there, but it neatly sums up the difficulties that many people are in at the moment and many people will face in the weeks and months to come.
