Will the ‘Big Freeze’ end soon?

This week was meant to be a continuation of the Big Freeze, but weather forecasters now think that there will be a thaw half way through this week. In London at least, it has been warmer today compared to the last few days. Thank goodness, I was getting rather tired of the talk of the weather and all the hyperbole, though not necessarily the snow. See also: The ‘Big Freeze’ — will everything run out?
