I have been fiddling with this blog, again. I have decided to see if DISQUS (www.disqus.com) would be a better option for the comment function. It enjoys a good reputation from a brief research I’ve done on the net, so I thought why not? It was pretty easy to sign up, and altering the Blogger template was also a matter of pushing a few buttons. It looks pretty good on my screen, and it avoids a pop-up or separate comments page avaiable at Blogger. Supposedly there is a function to import existing comments, but that seems to have gone slightly awry. I can still see the comments on the Blogger dashboard, so I assume they are not lost. Hopefully the comments can be imported to DISQUS, and get things rolling soon.
Added: The issue was resolved very quickly, and I’m pretty impressed at the moment.
