Image variations: triggering Google+ Photos auto-awesome effects

This was pictured on the platform of Southfields London Underground station, using my smartphone (Nexus 5), and this photograph was actually one of the first images taken on the mobile device. The original image is (1), and I wanted to see what kinds of effects I could use, and image (2) resulted from fiddling with a few effects on Pixlr Express. This image in turn triggered Google+ Photos auto-awesome effects (3).
