St James’s Park, London

Pelicans in the St James’s Park, which apparently were ‘first introduced in 1664 as a gift from the Russian Ambassador’ (The Royal Parks: St James’s Park). They seem to be good-humoured, but I’m always a bit apprehensive when the pelicans go near small children.
